Gyeongju Day Tours from Busan Compared

Seven Gyeongju day tours from Busan side by side: which stops each makes, which reach Seokguram Grotto, what is paid on the spot, how long the day is, and who each one suits.

Updated November 2026

The Gyeongju day tours from Busan all visit Bulguksa, and nearly all the royal tombs at Daereungwon; they differ on Seokguram Grotto, on the extra stops and on the length of the day. For Bulguksa and the old town with a hands-on stop, book LOVE KOREA’s Busan: Gyeongju UNESCO Authentic Full-Day Guided Tour, from US$36 on promotion, usually US$57 a person (checked November 2026). Its itinerary does not include Seokguram. If the grotto is the point of your trip, the cards at the end of this page are the tours that go there.

Powerd by GetYourGuide

It cost US$36.14 a person on 27 November 2026 and US$57.49 on 20 January and 10 March 2027 (checked November 2026). Free cancellation until 24 hours before.

Two of the from-prices did not show on the dates we read. TOURSTORY Korea’s day offered only package A, at US$65.31 a person on 20 January and 10 March 2027. KOREA DISCOVERY TOUR's small group showed no price on 20 January 2027; its private option was US$480 for the whole group (checked November 2026).

Seokguram or not

Map of Gyeongju: Gyeongju Station (KTX), the town centre with Daereungwon, Cheomseongdae and Wolji, Bulguksa 18.3 km by road south-east of the centre, and Seokguram above Bulguksa
Bulguksa and Seokguram on the mountain south-east of town, Daereungwon, Cheomseongdae and Wolji in the centre.

Seokguram is a short way above Bulguksa on the same mountain; VisitKorea gives a shuttle bus from Bulguksa every hour, about 20 minutes. Adding it costs a tour roughly an hour, and something else gives way. On TOURSTORY Korea’s package B it replaces Yangdong Folk Village; on Lecirt’s Seokguram option it replaces Gyochon and Woljeonggyo or Yangdong. LOVE KOREA’s day spends that time on Ahopsan Forest and a rice-cake session at Gyochon instead.

The other differences

Illustration. A path up the mountain through the autumn trees.

Group size. Only KOREA DISCOVERY TOUR's day gives a number, up to 6, and it collects from hotels in Busan or Gyeongju. Of the 350 most recent reviews of TOURSTORY Korea's day, dated 12 February to 6 November 2026, one counted 30 people on the bus.

Pace. The same 350 TOURSTORY Korea reviews include 14 at three stars or fewer, 12 with a comment, and six of those are about too little time at the stops or too much on the road. One reviewer booked the express package C without realising there were three, and one had booked to see Donggung and Wolji lit up and did not go there.

Lunch. Busan Tourism Center's day is the one here with lunch in the price. LOVE KOREA’s has a lunch stop, but lunch is not among its inclusions.

Language. Lecirt's Japanese-language day is guided in Japanese; TOURSTORY Korea’s three-package day lists English, Chinese and Korean; KOREA DISCOVERY TOUR’s small group is in English, its private option in English or Chinese; the others list English.

A car of your own. Gyeongju UNESCO Private Tour with Busan or Gyeongju Pick-up on Viator goes to Bulguksa, Seokguram, Daereungwon, the museum, Gyochon and Woljeong Bridge, priced by the size of your party, with admission and lunch extra.
